Within the scope of the project, the surface water and groundwater resources of all settlements in the project area were thoroughly evaluated through detailed hydraulic, geological, and hydrogeological investigations. In the Dodurga settlements, hydrogeological studies were carried out to identify the permeability, storage characteristics, and groundwater circulation features of the geological units. The surface water hydrology of the basin was examined comprehensively, and the total water potential of all streams and springs discharging into the sea during winter precipitation periods was calculated. Based on these assessments, suitable drilling locations and conceptual designs for drinking water supply wells were recommended to meet the long-term water demand of the region.
