The project was carried out within the scope of MUSKI’s “Engineering and Planning Services for Drinking Water Supply to the Bodrum Peninsula.” Comprehensive studies were conducted to meet the drinking water demand of Bodrum through surface and groundwater resources.
The water budget of the peninsula and surrounding areas was determined, and current and future water deficits were analyzed. Through the proposed surface water storage structures and groundwater operation zones, the long-standing water scarcity issue of the peninsula was addressed after a year of detailed field and planning work.
