Underground Dams and Artificial Recharge
We design underground dams and artificial recharge systems to support drought resilience, water security, and sustainable groundwater management. Our work includes identifying suitable geological and soil conditions, analyzing aquifer storage capacity, designing artificial recharge structures, and overseeing field implementation with an integrated approach. The primary goals are to direct surface runoff into the subsurface in a controlled manner, store floodwaters, and balance excessive groundwater extraction. Our projects aim to mitigate the impacts of climate change and provide long-term, sustainable solutions for groundwater resource management.
